Hi Michael

thanks for the photo. I only dropped in on Jerra Wetlands on the way from the hardware store and trying to avoid fixing the sink at home and didn't have my camera with me. 

I was really close (with fantastic photo opportunity) when one of the adults caught a christmas beetle and fed it to one of the young after bashing it (the beetle that is) vigorously on a branch.

G'day,
 
  Taken at the entrance to the wetlands in a eucalypt next to the car park. One parent was present and after about two minutes it was joined by another adult. They all flew off to North over the Dairy Farm.
