Last Monday on the Duffy oval, there were hundreds and hundreds of flying
bugs - I have never seen so many. There were also at least 22 magpie larks
(peewits) (and again, I had never seen so many) and three magpies which were
possibly eating the insects. They were across the oval and I couldn't see
clearly what they were doing.
