Forwarded to COG list from birding-aus. No doubt someone can help them
with the answer. I was wondering the same thing. The message also
repeats the confusion of the spelling of the name of this place. But I
had never seen it as Rowse, usually Rose, Rowes or Roses.

I visited Rowes Lagoon in September 2009, to find just a bare paddock,
so it's good to hear it has water in it. I was under the impression it
had been dry for years. Can anyone tell me when it last filled?
