Is he sure they are birds and not humans? I'd find it very suprising if birds did it.

Hi all,
This is a question that someone I don't know just emailed me. He says that he's seen CW attacking car windshields and also windows, in large numbers. In a subsequent email he said that that they use rocks (maybe drop rocks?). I'm not quite sure how to respond - I think he's being serious. I've never even seen CW attack mirrors or reflections, as the magpie-larks outside my house do with about 20% of their time, as far as I can tell. Any thoughts?
Cheers
Tonya

Hi Tonya,
I am very interested in your study about the birds. I would like to ask you a question and hope that you can help. A few months ago my car was attack by currawongs, who in the mornings like to make lots of noise and play in group in front of my garden. Anyway…my windscreen of car wad damage and broken and so was 4 other cars near my house (I live in Dumaresq street Dickson). Can you explain the reasons as so why they broke the windscreens and how to control them? Thank you so much.
Iwu
