We had a pair of Koels spending considerable time in our fig tree about a week ago, and we observed the male and female copulating. Haven't seen or heard them for the past several days, though.

Male and female in my street tree this morning.  Female giving maniacal call.  Another male calling lower down, possibly Lindell’s.  Male edged closer and took pre-copulatory lunge, female evading.  Male flew off, followed by female after a minute.  Getting late for any certainty of a suitable host, I’d have thought.

Koel calling at Nicholls this morning at 7am. I have heard at least one every second day or so in the Nicholls-Gungahlin Pond area.
