Male and female in my street tree this morning.  Female giving maniacal call.  Another male calling lower down, possibly Lindell’s.  Male edged closer and took pre-copulatory lunge, female evading.  Male flew off, followed by female after a minute.  Getting late for any certainty of a suitable host, I’d have thought.

And one calling briefly in Torrens this morning, 7.15.

G'day,
 
   Koel calling at Nicholls this morning at 7am. I have heard at least one every second day or so in the Nicholls-Gungahlin Pond area.
