Tonight while I was sitting on my back deck, enjoying a slight break from the heat, several groups of Little Ravens flew down the hill and landed on a large Power Pylon 400 metres away from me. The first group was 18 birds, then 25 more, then a few stragglers. In total, approx 50 birds gathers on the power lines and the High Voltage Stanchion. . This seemed unusual to me, in high summer. Flocks of these birds are common here in winter. Denis WIlson |
