Tonight while I was sitting on my back deck, enjoying a slight break from the heat, several groups of Little Ravens flew down the hill and landed on a large Power Pylon 400 metres away from me.|
The first group was 18 birds, then 25 more, then a few stragglers.
In total, approx 50 birds gathers on the power lines and the High Voltage Stanchion.
This seemed unusual to me, in high summer.
Flocks of these birds are common here in winter.
