Because I'm listed on COG's website as a contact person, I get some odd
calls about birds. I've just had an interesting call from a
security guard at a Defence Dept building at Fairbairn, who says a pair of
brown falcons roost on a ledge close to her window (and she's pretty sure
of species, says they have the facial teardrop marking). She thinks others
should have the opportunity to see them. I have her name and mobile
phone number if anyone would like to get in touch and arrange to see the
birds at close quarters (she's left her mobile at home today, so won't be
able to talk to anyone today!). email me if you want the contact
details. sandra henderson ********************************** Canberra Ornithologists Group Inc. PO Box 301 Civic Square ACT 2608 Email: Online: www.canberrabirds.org.au |
