are still calling in the Chapman/Rivett area, where compared with some
other suburbs they have never been particularly conspicuous and usually are gone
by the new year (at best just into it).
One was repeatedly giving the well known call round 7 am from the Cassia Pl
area Rivett (where it also was calling before Xmas), and 15-30 minutes later
another briefly gave both this and the “wirra wirra” call from the Chapman
shops/Rene St area (well over a km away). They were also recorded from
these places during the week, often giving the wirra wirra call.
