Hi all

I am back from overseas and this morning I was roused by a Pacific koel in North Ainslie. I managed to track it down (a gum tree on a property in Hannan Place) and watched it fly away northwards.  7am

Just returned from a week at Depot Beach where I watched a juv. Koel being fed by Red wattlebirds on numerous occasions (got photos, too, but haven't downloaded them yet as I am still waiting for my own computer to arrive), but was not able to see the Koel that was calling nearly every day across the campground.

Cheers,

Susanne Gardiner
