Actually, no egrets at all.  The L Egret might have left for what birds of a wandering disposition refer to as the Next Place. Probably in search of a companion in view of the attention it was giving to its appearance.   Good that the ACT recorders were able to get a tick for this uncommon species.  Yesterday it spent most of the day in the Spoonbill Tree, right at the point where the frog-dreaming G Egret was recently pictured.
