I’ll disagree with Philip on this one. The bird is definitely a Little Grassbird going by the rufous cap and dark wings. The fact that it is not showing any streaking on the underparts could mean the bird is a juvenile. Not all the birds I have banded were heavily streaked. I also find the call to be quite strong and penetrating and not a weak whistle. The usual call is a pe, pee, peeeee that can carry for some several hundred metres if the bird is calling in the open, such as the bird in the photo.

I'd say your bird is a Clamorous Reed-Warbler, not a Little Grassbird. The Little Grassbird never calls very loudly. Its sound is very weak whistle. The photo is of a Clamorous Reed-Warbler.

I was down at Norgrove Park between showers later this afternoon and heard the sound of the Little Grassbird calling very loudly from the middle of the reed-bed ponds.
I saw this one and could see it's throat moving with the sound but I didn't have my bins with me - only the camera.
Everything about it points to a LGB except for the lack of dark striations on the underparts.
Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
