Yes I was going to suggest the same thing. Any comment from Adam (in Banks)?

We had a RH record in Castle Hill in the mid 1980s too.

Possibly the same bird?  Castle Hill isn't far from Banks.

Hi, one Regent Honeyeater briefly observed this morning during the Woodland survey on private property at the foot of Castle Hill. I survey there with the permission of the landholders.

It was being harassed by other honeyeaters and flew off. I searched for half an hour but could not find it again.

It is the very spot - same clump of trees I think - where I saw a Regent Honeyeater in Jan 1990 (sic) during the Australian Bird Count survey.

So that is two sightings of this species in the Canberra region this week.
