Firstly, many thanks to Jack Holland and Suzanne Edgar for bringing Kelly’s Rd to my notice, and for Suzanne’s very detailed directions. Today, I got stuck at the first corner for about an hour watching, between the diamond firetails and southern whiteface, a family of four wedge-tailed eagles. They were way across the other side of the paddock, so the photos are not very sharp. In the shot below, one parent is in the tree on the left, two kids are on the ground, and the other parent airborne.
