Isn't it amazing that someone comes from as far away as USA to study and find such small and intimate details of an Australian bird (the Palm Cockatoo) in such remote and difficult locations. The logistics of this is really notable - almost comparable to Dianne Fossey & Jane Goodall decades ago. Well not quite but close.....

The idea of the vocal individuality makes a lot of sense........

At last night's AGM COG's committee for 2010-11 was confirmed.  The executive for the coming year is:

President: Chris Davey
Vice-President: Matthew Frawley
Secretary: Sandra Henderson
Treasurer: Noel Luff

There are 9 general members of the committee, all of whom are carrying on from last year.

Many thanks to all who attended the AGM.

Chris' president's report for the past year will be made available in the near future.

(And if you missed the AGM you also missed very interesting presentations on Palm cockatoos, and birds in revegetated areas)

Sandra Henderson
