I too have seen the Myna in Coles at Woden, around 6 months ago.  Perhaps its adopted range includes both supermarkets.  As Phillip says it wasn’t at all distressed and seemed perfectly at ease foraging in the busy supermarket.  No sign of a trap and staff weren’t concerned either.

What!  You mean the fellow has moved from Coles where he has lived for the past year to Woollies?  Has the bird no sense loyalty!

Hardly an amazing observation but today I was inside the Woolworths in Woden, I watched a Common Myna walking between and under the aisles in the middle of the shop (in the spices and Asian food section). It looked very at home there. Not something I have seen before and sort of amused other shoppers.
