No sightings or hearings of Koels in Carwoola as yet.  However the Frogmouths (2 chicks) nesting at our place have fledged overnight.

One calling in Flynn this morning about 6am and another two instances of calls heard from Mt Rogers. The latter effort was close enough for the bird to be in the "reserve" but I didn't see it. (Near the Wickens Close, Fraser carpark)
No sounds of Superb parrots "up there" incidentally.
 
"Our" Frogmouths have fledged. One young has ended up "doing well" at the RSPCA I heard but I don't know any other details as yet.
