Yeah, I agree. Have seen it mainly (maybe only) in British publications.

Grebeling seems better. Not everyone is familial with Dabchick these days.

"Grebeling" is cute (both image and word).

Though, in honour of the "old name" (unofficial, traditional name), surely it must be "Dabchick-chick"
