Not sure why this did not post earlier. Trying again.
 
I am puzzled by the Google images of Clathrus archeri, as some of them are definitely Aseroe rubra.
Just because someone named it X on Picasa or FlickR does not mean it is correctly named.

Clathrus archeri does not have the divided arms at the tips.
Aseroe rubra does.
