As forecast the Wednesday walk this month looks good for the three reserves on Mountain Creek Road. Frances and i did a recce on Tuesday and all three Reserves are in good shape. Cavan in particular has a spectacular display of flowers at this time and I would commend it to anyone wishing to take a moderate drive for some nature spotting in the interim. I expect this to be an all-day outing so people should bring along some tucker including for lunch and of course adequate water, Some of the walking will be off track and the local reptiles have awoken from hibernation.
