I went back there (the car park between the Lake Tuggeranong College and the Tuggeranong bus station) today from about 10:0to 10:30.  Although I could hear the SP throughout that time, it took a long time to see one. I saw two fly into one tree but then couldn't see them. That wasn't the tree I could hear them in. Then after gazing upwards for about 5 minutes, I saw 2 perched, preening and walking around near the top of the tree where I had been hearing them, immediately above the coin collecting parking machine number 631.

The flowering ironbark tree with the white plastic bag stuck in it that I wrote about on 11-9-2010 no longer has the plastic bag stuck on it.
