Sorry for the escape d part-message.

The ANPS WW today went to the Pound TSR beside Kowen Forest.  I recorded 24 species on the trip including SCARLET ROBIN (m&f, but not interfacing); and VARIED SITELLA.  A pair of BUFF-RUMPED THORNBILLs were carrying food into a nest in a burnt out stump (but the young, which I presume were inside were not greeting them noisily.  My greatest interest was in the sighting of 4 species of cuckoo, 3 of which were definitely in DISPLaY mode.
PALLID CUCKOO:  male bird called and answering female flew into the same tree;
FAN-TAILED CUCKOO:
