Is egg theft a problem in  Australia? 
Note the current case in the UK:
'Wildlife criminal' goes to jail for smuggling falcon eggs
"Jeffrey Lendrum was caught at Birmingham airport with 14 eggs – worth £70,000 – wrapped in socks and strapped to his body….The eggs were destined for the black market in Dubai where falconry is a national sport. .. "
