Dear All,

I have just returned from a trip to PNG. While at Ambua Lodge near Tari in the Southern Highlands

I met Bruce Beehler the first author of Birds of New Guinea not published since 1986. I thought

members would like to know that he is working on a completely revamped edition that will not be

published for at least 3 years. The delay is due to his need to have illustrations done by one artist

who still has a large work load.
