A single WTE sailed quite low across Yarramundi Reach from the direction of Yarralumla Peninsula towards the LPryor Arboretum yesterday afternoon, and then circled the Arboretum for a few minutes.- magnificent in the sun.

I saw one WTE gliding across the wind early this morning from the backyard on Mugga Way (Red Hill) pursued by a gaggle of cranky crows/raven and the house-sitter says that she has seen singletons close by the house and on top of the hill...wondeful sight so close to the city...

I don't know about the current year but in past years separate pairs have

To the SW of Mt. Wanniassa along the ridge, today, I saw a pair of
wedge-tailed eagles, perched on the branch of a dead tree,
canoodling.  They were there for 10--15 minutes.  I wonder
whetherthey are the pair from near Callum Brae?
