A week is a long time in politics - and in birding. The COG walk at Newline today produced just one Dusky Woodswallow, compared to a dozen last Saturday, 18 DB Finch (about 6 last week), a Grey Currawong and 2 GST (none last week), no Fuscous HE (11 last week) or Southern Whiteface. No raptors last week, but 2 Little Eagle (one light, one dark) and 2 WT Eagle today. No sign of the White-bellied CS. It was particularly pleasing to see 2 Brown Treecreepers.
