Help with call identification

While cycling out near Goolabri this morning I heard a bird call with which I wasn't familiar - a single note call punctuated every so often by "wheee-oh". I didn't get a look at the bird - it was hiding in a cluster of trees near a farm dam and as I was cycling I didn't have binoculars with me (plus it was raining).

I went to the COG web site and listened to the calls of birds that I don't already know, but it doesn't appear to be any of them. Does anyone have a suggestion of what it might be?

Nick
