For the first presentation Martin Butterfield, GBS co-ordinator
"will outline changes to the GBS Chart; emphasise some applications of the rules
that are on-going; and cover any other developments in the GBS since last
year."
This will be of interest to those
members currently involved in this project, one of COG's most
important surveys, and hopefully encourage others to join in for
2010-2011.
Following this the main speaker will be
Adrian Manning from the Fenner
School of Environment and Society at the ANU on
?The Mulligans Flat
- Goorooyarroo Woodland Experiment".
After
Adrian's presentation Damien Farine and Peter Milburn will make a presentation about
their bird banding studies which
have commenced at Mulligan's Flat.
Again these presentations on
this important experiment in the NE corner of the ACT will be of great interest
to members.
I look forward to seeing you all
there.
