Re Dusky Woodswallows, there was thirty-seven (or to be precise i could see 37 more or less at once)  on the North-West border this morning.

Good idea to keep track of the DWSs, view monitoring migratory or other character.   I suggested a little coordinated reporting last year, the results of which I summarised (I think).  As I recall there was a July record

Thanks to those who gave me directions.

 

Went out this am and saw 6 Flame Robins, a flock of approx 50-60 Dusky woodswallows.  Some of the woodswallows were chasing the robins.  2 Eu Goldfinch, 2 Red Brow Finches, 2 Black faced cuckoo shrike, 2 Wedge tailed eagles flying and another 2 raptors that I could not identify.  One being harrassed by the woodswallow flock.  Lovely day out there today.
