You are of course, quite correct. ASGAP has long-since gone (in name, but not from the internet).
 
I did not query it, because that is what the link told me. But I ought have known better.
The NSW equivalent trades under the name Australian Plants Society, NSW region
 
But it is affiliated with Australian Native Plants Society (Australia)
But their website is still registered as http://asgap.org.au/
 
But Mr Hodgman, is still in mourning over his recent near loss, (in being thwarted in his ambition of being the father of the Tasmanian Premier). As such, Mr Hodgman will ignore your slight in referring to him along with the dinosaurs.
