For the record, the Honeyeater migration over the Queanbeyan River
near Tinderry Crossing was continuing yesterday, but with signs that
it was petering out for this year.
Small groups of White-naped Honeyeaters were flying SE between 1100
hrs and 1600 hrs at irregular intervals, with one small group of 9
Red Wattlebirds. By 1630 hrs the White-napes were beginning to settle
in the Apple Box trees, and may well have flown on this morning.
