Thanks for putting that information up.  My main concern is that the event was basically just an exchange of views with nothing coming out in the way of a summary of agreements/disagreements, ideas or future actions.  I think that is a key problem for the Conservation Council to come to grips with.

I was intrigued that not only did COG not do the presentation on birds but the presenter (who I don't know at all, but I am told is a good birder) appears to have made no reference whatsoever to COG data or information.   It would also have been good if the CC had put up a summary of what was said since the Powerpoint was pretty much a series of photos without any real discussion of the species selected.

For those interested in the wetlands issues, the Conservation Council held a forum recently with a number of speakers.  My presentation on the conservation issues which I did on behalf of COG is on the Council's website.
 
The Council is endeavouring to put information/presentations from these events (where possible) on their website.
