On Easter Monday Yellow-faced Honeyeaters had started their migration crossing the Queanbeyan River just north of Tinderry Crossing, as in previous years. Only small groups, 5, 10, occasional 20, all going SE. I recorded 250 in 2 hours. They were determined fliers, not stopping to dip for a drink as they sometimes do - but it was only 10 C degrees when I started.
