Made my first visit to this nature reserve, and a very pleasant walk it was. Not much of note except maybe a Nankeen Kestrel popping its head down a hole after having carried food thereto. No signs of Painted Button-quail, but really, I was just walking along the paths.

There was one flock of Red Wattlebirds heading north. Later there were a couple of flocks of Yellow-faced Honeyeaters; one heading purposefully North-west and the other milling about.
