Cf the PBQs, we set out to investigate two places where platelets were recorded last year and one place where a bird had been sighted. No sign of any platelets. We also did around 4km of transects about 10m wide. No platelets. That makes six sites which were positive in the last half of last year but which do not have fresh signs of PBQs.

Apart from that, no Superbs and no Banded Lapwings. I scanned not only their territory but also what I could see of the paddocks around them. My last record was in mid-Feb, so any sightings since then, or after this date, would be welcome.
