The
Friends of the National Arboretum Canberra invite you to the annual open day,
Festival of the Forests ACT, this Sunday 14 March 2010.
Core festival
activities run from 10am – 3pm including kite making and displays, mini-train
rides, Bonsai & Penjing exhibits, biodiversity displays, children’s craft
and activities. Take a guided bus tour of the site or listen to a range of tree
talks in the speakers tent or in the forests.
And for the early risers:
‘Australia all Over’ will broadcast live from the Arboretum from 5.30am;
and for those wanting some exercise - a Fun Walk will leave from the
Event Terrace at 9am.
Off road parking will be available on site! "
