Well, yes Philip - the
only modification was that I did flip one of pictures. Nearly all cockatoos
are said to be ‘left-footed’, but one does occasionally see the odd
flipped photo, as with the Gang-gang on the cover of ‘Birds of the Australian
High Country’.
Personally I believe that it is
right-footed birds that hold the food in the left foot. It is less serious
to drop the food than fall out of the tree.

But they are using a different foot. I wouldn't dare ask if either
picture has been altered in any way, apart from asking: has one of the
pictures been reversed?
