I’ve had a large mixed feeding flock of small birds through the garden (in Page) this morning. Nothing out of the ordinary, but lots of them: Weebills; Yellow-rumped Thornbills; a Willie Wagtail; Silvereyes; Striated Pardalotes; White-Browed Scrubwren; Surperb Fairy-wrens; House Sparrows; starlings. Even the resident Red Wattlebirds were nonplussed, while magpies, magpie-larks, Crested Pigeons, ravens, blackbirds, Rainbow Lorikeets and both rosellas all paused but briefly and moved on. The “resident” koel gave one yodel from a neighbour’s liquidamber then shut up too. Is anyone else experiencing such garden activity? b
