The COG Conservation Group has looked at the EIS for the
Electrical sub-station relocation, and COG has or will be putting in a
submission - President Chris Davey is handling this particular one.
Briefly, we do not support eiher of the two options to re-locate in the
sewage works, eg bird movement between the ponds is a main concern, and
favour another option well away from the wetlands. If anyone is
interested in more info, get in touch with Chris or speak with Chris or myself
at the COG meeting next week.
