Rather hot and dry in the hills, not cool and refreshing as I had hoped....

Birds were a bit quiet at Smoker's Flat: YTBCs, Grey Shrike-Thrush, Yellow-faced and White-naped Honeyeaters, dozens of juvenile White-eared Honeyeaters. Highlight was a Brush Cuckoo just before the Flat calling loudly seemingly in respond to YTBC squealing, and allowing good views.
