Saw by far the largest flock of Ravens that we've ever seen this morning on Mt Mcdonald Rd a couple of hundred metres East of the intersection with Brindabella Rd. Estimate 100-120 birds. Over a period of about 30 seconds they all came out of a stand of large eucalypts in the paddock, wheeled around as a flock in circles of ~40-50m diameter for about another 30 seconds, and then all retreated back to the trees. It was rather like something out of Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds".
