Saw a few birds from the bicycle seat today. A Brush Bronzewing at Billy
Billy Creek near the top of the climb to Smokers Gap: rather
co-incidentally that's within a few hundred metres of the last sighting
we had of one about 20 years ago. Also a Sacred Kingfisher about half
way down the descent from Smokers Gap to Corin Dam, and back on the
Tidbinbilla Road near the turnoff into the Nature Reserve, excellent
views of a Wedge-Tailed Eagle sitting on a roadside fence.
