Channel-billed cuckoo Wanna Wanna Rd

Hi Wendy and Coggers,
                                     I was having a lazy day at home yesterday (29th Dec) and looked out the window to see a very large grey bird hopping about the upper branches of a Stringybark.  I suspected a Grey Currawong but wasn't convinced.  On close inspection it was revealed to be a CBC, a first for me at Wanna Wanna Rd (7 KM E of Super City (Queanbeyan).  I saw 7 at one time at Cobargo in Oct 09.

This CBC was being harassed by a Noisy Friarbird while Magpies and Sulphur Crested Cockatoos were keeping watch but from a distance.
