This is a very small Reserve adjacent to the racecourse.  I only spent about 45 minutes there  - it was a short walk due to heat and I had places to go and things to do!

The highlight was 2 immature wedgetailed eagles soaring.  The speed with which they went up showed the developing thermals.  I am sure they were higher than a Virgin flight.

The low point reinforced a comment some months back by Bob Rusk about the number of Common Mynas around the racecourse.  Huge numbers of them.
