Noisy minor

Yesterday I was at Mulligan's Flat... very quiet.  But I did see a noisy minor feeding young and then it went on to preen the youngster.  I have not seen that before.  Do the adults usually do this for while after the youngsters leave the nest?
 
Saw my first White browed woodswallow the day before at dunlop/macgregor.  Carrying food too.
