Rod, I have a map in front of me, the 1::25000. To find black faced
monarch's nest. Turn right, from Princes H'way, when you are just
through Narooma along Old H'way Road.. At junction with Flying Fox
Road, turn into FFRoad. Continue to the end to Flying Fox Bay. A
walk starts there Ringlands walk. Go through the gate, towards
Wagonga Inlet. Turn right at a T junction. (Left goes to a rain
forest gully which is interesting too). After about 10 minutes, you
pass a point out to the inlet, where there are 2 seats. Continue
past this point for another 10 minutes. Hopefully you would then
see/ hear the monarchs. The bird will have to lead you to the nest.
It is about eye level. There is a large dead fallen tree on the RHS
of the path, near the nest. Good luck!! I hope that you find it and
take a photo. It is a most beautiful nest
