As often at this time of year storms will trigger movement of tall forest birds into the lower woodlands. The storm last night had the same effect. This morning 2 Rufous Fantails and 1 Satin Flycatcher in an area on the western slopes of Mt Ainslie. But as is also typical, these birds do not hang around but keep moving back  to where they had come from.
