The weed on Kelly's Swamp. Does it stop water evaporating less quickly? Does it kill the small creatures in the water that ducks, swamp hens, spoonbills etc feed on? When will more water flow into the swamp? Is it absolutely dependent on rain? How will the nesting spoonbills survive and feed their chicks? which is the whole point of these questions

I was at Bicentennial Park in Sydney a couple of weeks ago. There were at least 4 active nests on the top of casurinas, some distance away. The nests were bigger than our spoonbill's nests. There was more room, but they were still close together. I was told that it was the 3rd year that they have nested there

What is its name?  I guess that I could then look it up
