Good on Dan and Heather, writing to the Chief Minister. We, too, have been concerned about the cutting down of trees, on Captain Cook Crescent.

If you see a couple of young men surveying trees, anywhere, have a chat to them. They are doing the survey to help the tree cutters, giving them information about tree height etc. I spoke with them today. They were surveying the trees on Austin Street, next to the Brumbies Club. I think that at least two trees will be taken down there. They are 30 feet tall. (No must be metres). They are also surveying to poplars along the creek. They are 35 metres tall. Consultation??doesn't mean a thing, even in the unlikely event that it happens. They have already made there minds up
