Well, we kept it in a box with a towel draped over
it for a few hours to see if it would recover sufficiently, and then seemingly
alert, I placed it in a pear tree (closest thing we have to a rainforest tree,
ie, green and leafy). It's still there (see attached), but obviously in no frame
of mind to make a bolt for it. Hopefully the wattlebirds and currawongs will
leave it be.
